This beautiful yarn was hand dyed in rural Sussex, using acid dyes for a colourfast finish. The colours are really lovely together, and create stripes of pink, apricot, yellow, green, blue, and lilac. I have wound the yarn into a gobstopper ball to show off the stripes.
The main ball of self striping yarn is an 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere and 10% Nylon blend, and is luxuriously soft. There is approximately 350m per 100g of the MCN.
I've paired it with a 20g mini in 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, with approximately 84m in the mini so that the areas of the sock which get most wear will be extra hard wearing. The mini has been dyed a coordinating pale grey.
I have tried to capture the colours as accurately as possible, however there may be slight variations in the colours as shown on your screen.
This yarn should be hand washed in cool water, then dried flat for the best results.
