This beautiful yarn was hand dyed in rural Sussex, using acid dyes for a colourfast finish. The colours are really lovely together, and create stripes of light green, emerald, light green, purple, pink, and purple . The mini has been dyed a matching pink.
The yarn is a 70% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon and 5% Silver Stellina blend with 420m per 100g, and is lovely and soft. It is available in the following sets.
- 100g skein with a 20g mini
- 50g gobstopper ball with a 20g mini
The 50g gobstopper ball is perfect for zero waste socks - I recommend working the socks toe up to ensure that you have enough yarn for the foot, and then working the leg with the remaining yarn. There is plenty of yarn in the mini for cuffs, heels and toes. Simply weigh the ball and stop knitting the first sock when you have just over half the yarn left.
I have tried to capture the colours as accurately as possible, however there may be slight variations in the colours as shown on your screen.
This yarn should be hand washed in cool water, then dried flat for the best results. As with all saturated colours, there may be a slight colour bleed in the first wash - this is completely normal and will not effect to finished look of the garment.
